--The Boscobel Dial says that word was received on Wednesday morning of the sudden death of Mr. James Eaton, an old resident of the town of Richwood, in Richland county, and well known to the business men of Boscobel. He was found dead in bed by his aged wife, on Wednesday morning, when she went to call him. It is supposed that his death resulted from an injury received last spring, from being thrown from a wagon, although he was able to do light work up to and including the day before his death. He was in the 68th year of his age, and leaves a wife and eight children. Sixteen years ago last fall Mr. Eaton moved to Richland county from Madison county, Indiana, of which latter county he was the third man who settled there. Mr. Eaton was respected by all who knew him, and his loss will be severely felt in the community where he resided. |
