ANDREW
H. DAHL (Rep.), of Westby, was born in Columbia county,
April
13, 1859, and was educated in the high school at Viroqua and the
Northwestern Business college at Madison. Vernon county has been his
home since 1864, and he is engaged in dealing in general merchandise.
He was supervisor of the village of Westby during 1896 and 1897, and
was elected trustee of Vernon county asylum in 1897 and re-elected in
1901. He was president of the village in 1899 and 1M, and was re-
elected to the assembly in 1898 and again in 1900, receiving 4,477
votes, against 1,290 votes for George E. Tate (Dem.).
