"From his son, who was in town last
Saturday, we learn of the misfortune of the venerable Alfred Van
Vleet, at his Genoa home, who suffered a stroke of paralysis in his
left side which has caused him to be helpless since August. Mr.
Van Vleet has lived in this county for forty years."
