Barry Alan York

Barry Alan York, 59, of Dillsboro, Indiana, passed away Monday June 17, 2019 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was born February 24, 1960 in Dearborn County, IN, son of Betty (Kirkpatrick) York and the late Dallas York.

He worked as a Press Operator for Aurora Casket Company, retiring after over 30 years of service and he farmed all of his life. He was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church, Bear Branch and a graduate of Rising Sun High School. Barry enjoyed playing cards, get together's and cook outs. He loved people and always enjoyed time with his family and friends. He also loved his dog, Scruffy, and his granddogs, Chance and Leo.

Barry is survived by his loving spouse of 24 years Terri (Truitt) York, children, Jodi (Mark) Wilder, Julie (Brian) Schuyler, Jason (Racheal) York; grandchildren, Alex, Brian, Brent, Brady, Bowen, Brayleigh, Jaydon and Aubree; brothers, Steve (Teresa) York, "Chipper" Mark (Amy) York; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dallas.

Friends will be received Saturday, June 22, 2019, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at St. Peters Lutheran Church, 3958 Milton Bear Branch Road, Dillsboro, Indiana 47018. Services will be held at 1:00 pm at the Church.

Interment will follow in the St. Peters Lutheran Church Cemetery, Dillsboro, Indiana.
