JEROME “JERRY” LANGERMAN, age 81, of Las Vegas, NV, formerly of Minneapolis, died peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2014, at the Nathan Adelson Hospice Cottage in Las Vegas, NV. He was born December 20, 1932, in Minneapolis, to Raymond and Effie (Lindman) Langerman. Jerry graduated from Patrick Henry High School, in North Minneapolis, in 1951. In December of 1951, he entered the United States Air Force. He served his country for 28 ½ years obtaining the rank of Chief Master Sergeant in less than nineteen years. He served in the Korean War and had special assignments in Chili and Wiesbaden, Germany before retiring from the Air Force in 1986.
Jerry married Donna Hokeness on December 27, 1952, at Zion Lutheran Church in Adrian. The couple was stationed in various cities and countries throughout Jerry’s military career. After Jerry retired from the service, he worked as branch manager at Patterson Dental managing the Lincoln and Omaha Nebraska areas. Then moving to Des Moines, Iowa, he then managed the Iowa and part of Illinois areas. Jerry retired and moved to Las Vegas in 1995.
He was a member of the Masons, served on the endowment committee at the St. Andrews Lutheran Church of Las Vegas and enjoyed golfing.

A time of fellowship will be from 10 to 11 am Saturday, May 2, 2015, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Adrian. A memorial service will be 11 am Saturday at the church officiated by Rev. Kerry Boese. Burial of cremains with full military honors provided by the Adrian American Legion will be at the Adrian Cemetery. Arrangements are pending with Dingmann Funeral Home in Adrian.
