Mrs. Mary Fury Dies Tuesday
Mrs. Mary FURY, 77, a resident of Kinbrae and vicinity for the past 56 years, died at her home Tuesday morning at 1:45. She had been ill for several months and death was due to the infirmities of age.Born at Elk Port, Iowa, Dec. 17, 1860, Mary CALLAHAN was married there to Joseph FURY when she was 22 years of age. They came immediately to Nobles county and settled on a farm near Kinbrae, where they resided until 14 years ago when they moved into the village. Mr. FURY died in October, 1935.
She leaves four sons and one daughter. They are Michael, James and John FURY of Kinbrae, William FURY of Grand Forks, N.D., and Mrs. L. A. LANGER of Kinbrae. Two sons and three daughters are dead.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at the St. Mary's church in Dundee. The requiem high mass will be said by the Rev. Father Anthony HENNEKES of Dundee, assisted by the Rev. Father GREGOR of St.
James and the Rev. Father MEYER of Fulda. Six grandsons of the deceased will be the pallbearers. They are Clair, Donald, John, Cyril and Sylvester FURY and Clifford LANGER. Interment will be in the cemetery at Fulda.
