CARROLLTON - Services for Bobo Baker, 46, of Carrollton, who died of a stroke Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home.
Mr. Baker was born in Greenwood, where he lived most of his life. He was a plumber who had worked for Somerville Plumbing and Tucker Plumbing. He was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Baker; a sister, Debra Baker; his mother, Mary Buford Baker; and his father, Sonny Baker.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Baker of Carrollton; one daughter, Monica Baker of Kosciusko; one sister, Patsy McCarty of Kosciusko; one brother, Ricky Baker of Tupelo; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The Rev. Perry Irvin will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Gentry, Raymond Gentry, Bill Armstrong, Bill McDaniel, Steve Sanders, Steve Kent, Ronnie Vanlandingham and Bobby Gorman. Honorary pallbearers will be Rob Sanford, Steve Sanford and Ray McClurg.
Burial will be in New Shiloh Cemetery in Carroll County.
