Graveside services for Roy Bruce Berryman, 76, of Greenwood, who died of respiratory failure Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2001, at his home, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton.
Mr. Berryman was born in Conway, Ark., and lived in Greenwood for 30 years. He was former owner of Berryman Water Well Drilling. He worked for Harold T. Smith International Water Well Drilling Co., digging wells in locations such as Pakistan, Iraq and South America.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Berryman of Greenwood; a brother, Junior Berryman of Stuttgart, Ark.; and three sisters, Helen Welsh of Hot Springs, Ark., Ermal Travis of Stuttgart, Ark., and Merthel Shideler of West Memphis, Ark.
Visitation was from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. today.
The Rev. Jerald Welch will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Bobby Miller, Mike Bussey, Ben Barham, Eddie Howze and Calvin Sullivan.
Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
