Obituary of Granberry 'G.B.' Blount

Graveside services for Grandberry "G.B." Blount, 63, of Oakdale, Pa., who died of a stroke Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, at Allegheny Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa., will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at McNutt Cemetery.

Mr. Blount was retired from Conrail Railroad. He was born in Carroll County.

He is survived by two sisters, Rose Potter of Belzoni and Ruby Belock of Hampton, Va.; and a half-brother, Warren Lee Blount of Teoc.

Higdon Herrington will officiate at the services.

Pallbearers will be Dorcy Blount, Harold Potter, Richard Reed, David Reed, John Reed and Jimmy Blount.

Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
