WINONA - Services for Thomas
Garfield "Buddy" Humphrey, 90, of Winona, formerly
of North Carrollton, who died of heart failure Thursday, Dec.
4, 2003, at Winona Manor Nursing Home, will be at 2 p.m.
Saturday at Roberts & Sons Mortuary.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah M. Humphrey of North
Carrollton; five sons, Thomas Humphrey Jr., James Humphrey,
Eddie Humphrey, Willie Humphrey and Tyrone Humphrey, all of
California; three daughters, Ella Mills, Louise Humphrey and
Claudette Humphrey, all of California; a stepson, Sullivan
Richardson of Chicago, Ill.; two stepdaughters, Geraldine
Richardson Bush and Barbara Jean Haliburton, both of Dallas,
Texas; one brother, Curley Humphrey of Detroit, Mich.; 28
grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. George Blake Sr. will officiate at the services.
Burial will be in Zion Cemetery near McCarley.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 this evening at Zion Chapel
Church in McCarley.
