    Mr. Perry Jackson, 87, of Coila died of heart failure Oct. 31, 2001 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. He was a foreman at Freeman Gin for 31 years, a member of Bethel Christian Church and a veteran of World War II.

    He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Pearl Jackson.

    Funeral services were held Nov. 4 at Bethel Christian Church in Colia. Burial was at Polly Mathis Cemetery in Coila with Rev. James Devine officiating.

    Sanders and Sanders Funeral Home of Greenwood was in charge of the arrangements.
