VAIDEN - Services for James E. Ramage, 82, of
Cleveland, Tenn., formerly of Vaiden, who died of cancer
Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at his home, were held at 2
p.m. Saturday at Midway Cemetery near Vaiden.
Mr. Ramage was a retired civil service employee. He
also was a member of the American Legion and a World War
II veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Doster
Ramage.
He is survived by three daughters, Yvonne Smith,
Debra Pittman and Christy Moore, all of Jackson; five
sons, James T. Ramage, Billy D. Ramage, Keith Ramage and
Marvin L. Ramage, all of Cleveland, Tenn., and Dennis C.
Ramage of Florence; one brother, Levi Ramage of
Pembroke, Ga.; 30 grandchildren and 17
great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Rupert Ingram officiated at the services.
