Services for Ruby Maud Johnson Wilson, 75, of
Greenwood, who died of cancer Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002, at
her residence, were at 1 p.m. today at Williams &
Lord Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilson was a retired seamstress. A native of
Neshoba County, she was a longtime resident of Los
Angeles. She was a resident of Greenwood since 1988. She
was a Baptist.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Regalado of
Pleasant Plains, Ark.; a son, Gerold Pinson of Heber
Springs, Ark.; four sisters, Rosie Wilson and Mary
Rogers, both of Greenwood, Arvelia Smith of Union and
Alma McPherson of Everett, Wash.; two brothers, Calvin
Johnson of Union and Walter Johnson of Yazoo City; six
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Gary Tanner and the Rev. Emerine Lemley
officiated at the services. Burial was in Mt. Pisgah
Cemetery in Teoc.
Pallbearers were Donnie Gregg, Wally Wetzbarger,
James Yeoman, Troy Gregg, John Sanders and Curtis
"Skip" Jackson.
Visitation was from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday at the
funeral home.
