I'm trying to research my father and
grandfathers family..with little success. My
grandfather was Landon William Abel of Carroll County. LW
was with the 30th Mississippi in the Civil War. He
married twice, first a woman i believe may have been
named Wanda, and the second a lady named Mattie. The
second marriage produced my father, Landon. They lived
around the Duck Hill area but that's about all i
know. My father later moved to Kansas. Any leads would
be appreciated.
