Seeking information on Bowers surname. Bartlett Bowers and descendants were in the following counties beginning in 1840 to present day: Yalobusha, Carroll, Grenada, Montgomery.
Bartlett Bowers b. 1810 TN and wife Mary were first in Yalobusha Co. in 1840 census and then in Carroll Co. in 1850. Eventually the portion of Carroll Co. where they lived became part of Grenada Co. Some of this area is now Montgomery Co.
