I am seeking a Nancy Brown.

 

According to a 1850 Census she lived in Carroll County, Mississippi, and then a 1860 Census shows her living in Hays County, Texas.

 

Nancy was born in 1800 in North Carolina. Brown is her married name - her husband must have died young, which makes is difficult to find her in the 1840 census of Carrol County. She had two sons (the youngest was born in 1838 in Mississippi) - their initials were W.W. Brown & J.T. Brown, and they both moved with her to Hays County, TX.
