I am doing research on the Thomas L. Stevens family.

I know Thomas served with the 17th and 42nd Mississippi units in the Civil War. 
Two or three of his brothers also served with the above units. After the
war ended in 1865 to 1880 is where I can't find any thing at all on him. 

I am also looking for a Mercy Anne Stevens, said to be a wife, but 8 years
older than him. 

There is said to be a Stevens cemetary in Cockrum, Desota, Mississippi. I
have been unable to find it.

I do have wonderful family records from 1884, when he married a Louisiana (Anna)
Minor Hutchinson of Coila, Mississippi, then family moved th Athen, Louisiana.

I am just trying to put this man's history together for his family.

I am looking for any information on Thomas L. Stevens of Carroll County, Mississippi.
He served in the 17th Mississippi. We have a letter that was written by his brother
where he names the 17th. Mississippi.

He was married to a Louisiana Minor Hutchinson.
