Gant Cemetery
(Correct Name Unknown)

Location: Leave Carrollton on Hwy. 82 and go east about 3 miles. Just after crossing Little Sand Creek, turn south, cross Little Sand Creek again and go to crest of hill. Stop just before road merges with and east-west road. On west side in grader furrow was found this one stone. There were other graves as evidenced by planted shrubs. "They say" that when the road was straightened a few years ago, the right of way was cut through the cemetery. To save the stone, Beverly carried it to her home near by.
