In February 1926, my life was saved when my ruptured appendix was removed by Dr. Alexander Campbell MacDonald. He was assisted by another doctore probably Dr. W. A. MacDonald. They were not related to each other.
I am seeking a paragraph of biographical material about each of them for inclusion in my autobiography.
I am a native of Binford, N. Dak. Oscar Alm, a rural mail carrier, transported me to Valley City. He had a Model T Ford Sedan and made a bed for me in the back seat. My father, Arthur James Anderson, the local pharmacist, accompanied me. I was in the Barnes County Hospital for two weeks.
My father took me home on the Northern Pacific Railway. In Binford, D. F. Rice, the local drayman, put ssome straw in the back of his sled and gave me a ride from the deepot three blocks to our home.
Sincerely, Grant Anderson
I was a student at Valley City State Teachers College, 1933-35. In 1933, I was a trumpet player in the Valley City American Legion Junior Band (100 members) that represented North Dakota at the World's Fair (Century of Progress) in Chicago, Ill. Ernest C. Meyer was the band director.

George and Fannie LAING lived in Dazey late 1800's and into 1900's. They are on the 1900 census. Living with them were Fannie's parents Marvin BROWN, Margaret (Ann) BROWN, and her sister Annie BROWN. Also living with them but not on 1900 census was Ellora STEVENS, niece of Fannie. Ellora married Roy FREEMAN in Dazey. Looking for more information on this family including later census data if possible.
