Susan K Brandmeier

January 27, 1953 ~ March 4, 2019

Susan Kay (Horvat) Brandmeier of Huron, Ohio passed away peacefully at Firelands Regional Medical Center on Monday, March 4, 2019.

She was born January 27, 1953. She graduated from Vermilion High School in 1971. Susan had played soccer with the Amvets post 22 soccer team several years ago. She was a fellow avid bowler like her mother was, at Lake Erie Lanes in Vermilion. She loved dancing. Her hobby was reading books. Lately she had been reading a lot of Janet Evanovich books. She loved cats and birds. She liked getting rides on motorcycles. She had a good sense of humor and sometimes it was a little on the dry side but it still made you laugh.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (John) Brandmeier-Smith as well as nieces.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis W. Horvat, her mother Elizabeth Horvat, her sister Diane Horvat and her brother Lewis R. Horvat.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 30th from 12-2 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home in Huron, OH.
