Myrtle June (Taylor) Hamilton - Croxton, 85, residing in Sandusky, passed away early Friday morning, December 28, 2018 at Parkvue Health Care Center after a lengthy illness.
Myrtle was born on March 26, 1933 in Coeburn, VA to the late Fleetwood and Wanda Estel (Adkins) Taylor.
Myrtle was a very hard worker and served as a waitress for eight years in Florida. She was also employed at Chef's' Pantry and Prepared Foods until it closed in 1993. Myrtle possessed a strong work ethic and provided a great example for her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and spending time with her loved ones.
Myrtle is survived by her children, Madeline Churchill, Patricia (Jim) Scavio, Kitty Olivares, Lacy Hamilton, Robert (Julie) Hamilton and Anita-Joy Patton; nine grandchildren, James, Becky, Eric, Eddie (Shana), Joey (Brooke), Lynn, Samantha, Ira and Brian; 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and her twin sister, Wanda Mae Moore and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Myrtle is preceded in death by her first husband, Oley Hamilton; second husband, Ghale Croxton and 8 siblings, John, Earl, Emery, Carson, Willard, Jenny, Claire and Lacy.
