Linda R. Gregg

Linda R. (Chew) Gregg, 70, of Huron, formerly of Mansfield and Delaware, OH, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky.

She was born September 4, 1947 in Shelby and moved to Huron in 2008 after living in Mansfield and Delaware, OH. She graduated from Miami University, OH, and earned her Master's Degree from The Ohio State University. She dedicated her life to education, teaching students, and helping others. She worked a number of different schools including Shelby Elementary, Ohio State University, Olentangy Schools, Powell, and Discovery Schools, Mansfield, where she was a teacher, principal, and administrator in education for 37 years retiring in 2007.

She was a member of the Ohio Association of Elementary School Administrators; the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and the National Education Association.

She is survived by her husband, Michael, married to for 45 years; her mother and father in law, Wilma and Stanley Gregg of Fredericktown, OH; a sister, Pamela M. Skarl of Huron; a brother in law, Randy (Nancy) Gregg of Fredericktown; nieces, Tamara Holmes and Wendy Williams both of Shelby, Michelle Gregg of Columbus, and nephew, John Gregg of Fredericktown.<.p>

She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Peggy (TyRee) Chew; and brother in law, Gary Gregg.

Linda's wish was for family and friends to celebrate her life in ways that bring the most comfort. At Linda's request, there will be no visitation or service and cremation will take place.
