Bobby "Blue" Haney

January 6, 1948 ~ May 15, 2019

Bobby Haney 70, residing in Oklahoma and formerly of Sandusky went to be with the Lord on May 15, 2019.

He was born January 6,1948 to the late Raymond Sr. and Wille B. Haney in Columbus, MS.

Bobby attended Columbus School System where he received his formal education graduated from R.E Hunts High School. Bobby later moved to Sandusky OH, where he met the love of his life and united in Holy matrimony to Kathy Haney “Kat” as he called her on June 17, 1978, spending 41 years together up until his transitioning life.

"Blue" as he was called by family and friends, loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. Bobby loved gardening, fishing, golfing, and grilling, when he got ready to grill his favorite saying was "Fire it up" Bobby was a "Big Jokester" and the life of the party.

Bobby Worked at Union Chain in Sandusky, providing for his family until he retired after 27 years.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Kathy Haney; sons, Ranaldo (Dymond) Haney and Robert Haney; daughters, Robin Haney, Kevonia Haney, and Martina (Willie Shaw) Haney; grandchildren, Dequareyon Haney, Dymiir Haney, Ta'Driana Haney, KaVontae Haney, Dontaivius Shaw and Kamari Haney; brothers, Billy (Marilyn) Haney and Blanchard (Lillian) Haney; sisters, Elouise Everette, Bertha Harris, Gloria Washington, Peggy (Andrew) Peterson and Brenda Haney, goddaughter, Shenna Cubit; special friends, Charlie Clark and Sharon (Glenn) Aaron, Douglas and Johnnye Page, mothers-in-law, Tina Jackson and Frieda Banks ; sisters-in-law, Carla (George) McPherson, Vickie Ford, Yolanda Rilez,,Velma Banks, and Mamie Rodriquez; brother-in-law, Teddy Banks; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved him dearly. Bobby will truly be missed.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, L.D Harris, Joe Haney, James Haney, and Raymond Haney Jr.; sisters, Lela Ann Shaeley, Grace Hudges, and Francis Brackett.

Friends may call on Saturday, June 1, 2019, from 10 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 P.M. Noon in New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1920 Eddy Henry Way, Sandusky. Rev. Curtis L. Johnson Jr. will officiate.

Entombment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky is handling the arrangements.
