Margaret L. (Woitzel) Kuebbeler, 103, residing in Sandusky, OH, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, February 28, 2019 at Northridge Health Center surrounded by her loving family.
Margaret was born on September 20, 1915 in Toledo, OH to the late William and Ida (Mahrone) Woitzel.
Margaret was an exceptional homemaker but, both before and after raising her children, she held a variety of jobs. When she was young she worked in a family-owned grocery store and then she became a licensed beautician. After she and her husband raised their children, she went to work in the Sandusky Baking Company retail store and later worked for Cedar Point in telephone sales.
Over the years, she enjoyed square dancing, traveling throughout the United States, and she was a devoted Cleveland Indians fan.
Margaret was the dearest mother to her two sons, Gary (Jo Ann) of North Ridgeville and William Jr. (Sue) of Lake City, Florida and devoted grandmother of Eric Riesterer.
In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, William J. Kuebbeler Sr., and her daughter, Brenda Riesterer.
Friends may call on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Pastor Wally Gilbert will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
