Geraldine Olive (Smith) Mischler

May 29, 1946 ~ April 9, 2019

Geraldine O. "Jeri" Mischler, 72, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Tuesday afternoon, April 9, 2019, with family at her side at Parkvue Health Care Center, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness.

Born on May 29, 1946, in Sandusky, OH the daughter of Charles Frederick and Elizabeth Frances (Kotasek) Smith. Jeri was a graduate of Sandusky High School and, over the years,

She had worked in food service for different businesses in the local area.

She is survived by her family, Denise (David) Brownell of Castalia, Kevin (Tammy) Brown of Sandusky, Kristine (Tim) Welser of Huron and Erik (Misty) Mischler of Sandusky; eleven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; a sister, Marlene Robertson of Hamilton; two brothers, Richard "Dick" (Mimi) Smith of Collins and Robert "Bob" (Judy) Smith of Sandusky; several nieces and nephews; and her special friends, Barb, Dee, Diane and Joann.

Jeri was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons, Michael S. and Jacob P. Brown; two brothers and a sister-in-law, James F. "Jim" (Bette) Smith and Carl D. Smith; and a brother-in-law, William F. "Bill" Robertson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019, from 6-8 pm and Saturday morning, April 13, 2019, from 10 am until time of the funeral services at 11 am at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Rev. David T. Clarke of Stein Hospice officiating.

Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, OH.
