Nina J. Murphy

Nina J. Murphy, age 68, passed away in her sleep on Monday, August 21, 2017.

Nina loved to travel, especially to her ancestral lreland, and to Florida and in recent years Arizona, to enjoy spring training for her much loved Cleveland lndians.

Nina graduated from Huron High School in 1967. She was a member of Local 42 Plumber and Steam Fitters Union and worked for Boos Plumbing. Martinez Construction, and later, she was office manager for that same union for 16 years.

Nina was an avid producer of crochet handiwork and provided unique crochet gifts to friends, relatives and various charity organizations. She carried out extensive genealogical research of her family's history. She enjoyed square dancing, reading, and sharing a good laugh with family and friends.

She is survived by her longtime companion of over 40 years, Gregg Enderle, of Huron; her brother, Shawn Murphy, of Punta Gorda, Florida; sister, Stephany K. Murphy, of Sarasota, Florida, and sister, Nanette Zimmerman of Berlin Heights; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rhea Stadman Murphy and father, Harold Murphy.

Visitation will be at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron, on Saturday, August 26 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. with a memorial service following at 4:00 p.m.
