Mary M. (Feld) Shank

January 22, 1938 ~ January 11, 2019

Mary M. Shank, 80, of Sandusky, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 11, 2019 in Firelands Regional Medical Center.

She was born near Pittsburgh, PA on January 22, 1938 to the late Philip and Marion (Leffler) Feld. A homemaker, Mary loved her family and home. She also loved the Steelers, crocheting and crafts, and most of all loved her grandchildren and following their many sporting events. A loving woman, she will be deeply missed.

Mary is survived by her children, Margaret (Brian) Rohrbacher, Jackie Thatcher, Isidore (Jennifer) Shank, Jr., Jerry (Amie) Shank, and Geraldine (Timothy) Tigges; grandchildren, Ashley Marie (Thomas) McKerlie, Brian (Caitlin) Rohrbacher, Jr., Isabella Rohrbacher, Harold (Felicia) Rohrbacher, Margaret Rosemary Rohrbacher, Hannah Rohrbacher, Philip Rohrbacher, Matt, Carlie, and Nic Shope, Megan (Stephen) Kuo, Maddie (Ryan) Brown, Katie Smith, Cheyenne and Tessa Shank, Monicann, Katherine, and Jenna Tigges, and Harley and Caleb Thatcher; great-grandchildren, Taylyn, Haylei, Easton, Greenlee, Athena, David, Clare, John, Anna, Andrew, and Philip; and son-in-law, Norm Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Isidore Shank, Sr.; daughters, Angel Shank and Mary Smith; and brother, Philip Feld.

Mary's wishes will be followed. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 15 at 2 p.m. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
