Cathy Ann (Hahn) Wood

November 25, 1961 ~ July 31, 2018

Cathy Ann Wood passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones and family after a hard fought battle with Lupus two days shy of her 16th anniversary to her loving husband Lamar Wood.

Cathy leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband and best friend, Lamar Wood; two sons, Russ “Rusty” Wade (Nichole), and Richard Wade; sisters, Karen (Jon) Grendow and Kim Cabot; and brothers, John Hahn, Tom Hahn. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, Sophie, Mason, and Alyssa; and nieces and nephews, Devon, Sydney, Alli, Thomas, Jennifer, Jessica, Brandon, and Torri.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Sue Hahn; her biological mother that she met late in life, Bertha Brooks; and a special sister, Debbie Kendron.

Cathy was member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Vermillion. She enjoyed attending church with her granddaughter Sophie and donating time to church events.

Cathy enjoyed traveling with her husband Lamar, attending NASCAR races and sporting events. She was an avid reader and professional online shopper.

Visitation will be at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron, Friday, August 3, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with services Saturday, August 4th at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home, with Pastor Philip A. Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Berlin Hts.
