Will of John Pancake 

June the 20 A.D. 1856  Lawrence County Ohio

Know all men by this presents that I John Pancake Senior this day and time in my perfect mind do gave my wife Debey Pancake and four children viz Henry Pancake, Eliza Pancake, Andrew Pancake Junr, Adaline Pancake all of my property which I want divided equal amounst those above named except one dollar which I want gave to each one of those hears not named to wit Iseec Pancake Junr on dollar Alfred Pancake one dollar Rebecy Pancake one dollar Levina Pancake one dollar Phillip Pancake one dollar Hanner Webb one $1.00 Agnes Mare one dollar Jane Gillen one dollar Anna Moore one dollar Margaret Gillen one dollar Matilda Gillen one dollar Nancy Gillen one dollar.  I want my wife to yous this property in such a way as to raise those four children above named Henry Pancake, Eliza Pancake, Andrew Pancake Juner, Adeline Pancake.  This day and date I set my hand and Seal.
