The State of Alabama, Fayette County) This indenture made this the 24th day of November in the year of our Lorde one thousand Eight hundred and forty Eight Between James L. Turner & Julina Turner his wife of Marion County Ala of the first part and John M. Hankins of Fayette County Ala of the second part Witness that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part at and before the sealing and delivering of this presents By the said party of the second part the receipt Whereof is hereby acknowledge hathe granted Bargained sold & conveyed and do by these presents grant bargain sell and convy unto the said party of the second and to His heirs and assigns for Ever Three Tracks of Land Being and lying in Fayette County Alabama and District of Huntsville described as follows Vis The South East quarter of the North East quarter of Section No 26 of Township No 14 of Range No 15 West containing forty acres 25/100 hundredths Also the North West quarter of the South East quarter of Section No 26 of Township 14 of Range No 15 West containing forty acres 25/100dredths Also the south West quarter of the North West quarter of Section No 25 Township 14 of Range No 15 West containing Thirty nin acres 75/100 hundredths in all making one hundred and Twenty acres one quarter or 25/100 hundredths together With all and singular the tenements and appertainances thereunto belonging or in Any Wise appurtaining and also all the estate right Title in trust claim or demand Whatsoever of said party of the first his heirs and assigns the said party of the first part either in Law or equity of in and to the above bargained premices and every part and parcel thereof to have and to hold to said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to the soul and only proper use benefit and Behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever and the said party of the first part for himself his heirs Executors and admin dothe hereby Warrant and will defend the Title of the above bargained premices to the said John M. Hankins and to his heirs and assigns free from the claim or claims all and every person or persons Whoomsoever as also claims of The general government in Testimony Whereof the aforesaid party of the first part hathe hereunto )
