Imprisoned at Point Lookout, Md, paroled then in June 24, 1865. Had been transferred to Co G as Orderly Sergeant at Petersburg, Va 1864.

Reenlisted in fall of 1862 at Canton, Miss in Co. I 15 Miss and continued until captured near Columbus, Ga, paroled Jan 1865.

Re-enlisted as Private in some command and continued until disbanded at Nashville, Tenn in 1865.

145 - SAVAGE, Taylor; Present Post Office address: Millport, Ala; b 1841 at Gainsville in Hall County, Ga; first entered the service as Private in fall 1861 at Athens; Ga in Co D 43 Ga Reg and continued

until captured at Vicksburg, Miss 4 Jul 1863, imprisoned at Ft. Delaware, Del, 3 months. Exchanged Oct 1863 at Ft Delaware in same command, paroled in May 1865.



146 - SANDERS, George Harrison; Present Post Office address: Vernon, Ala; b 11 May 1845 in Fayette County, Ala; first entered the service as Private in Spring 1861 at Tuscaloosa, Ala in Co G 41 Ala and continued until served 2 years as substitute ofbrother, then enlisted. Re-enlisted as Private in 1863 at Fayette, Ala in Co B 8 Ala Cav (Ball) and continued until after much service and often vith Gen. Joe Wheeler, was paroled at Starkville, Miss in May 1865.

Re-enlisted as Private in fall 1862 at Baldwin, Miss in Co H Gholston's Reg Forrest's Cav and continued until retired at Columbus, Miss in Nov 1864, on sick leave. Served on detail to put down insurection among the Negros in the Miss Bottom. Has a full diary of all of the above service.



192 - YOUNG, James Paul; Present Post Office address: Bedford, Ala; b 13 Nov 1829 in Chester County, S.C.; first entered the service as 2nd Lieutenant in fall of 1861 at Bedford, Ala in Co K. 26 Ala and continued until promoted to let Lieutenant in Co F 26 Ala Reg and continued until after continual service was paroled at Greensboro, N.C. in May 186.



193 - YOUNG, Rufus Wilburn; Present Post Office address: Bedford, Ala; b 22 Nov 1645 in Lamar then Fayette County Ala; first entered the service as private in fall of 1863 at Columbus, Miss in Co F 43 Miss and continued until consolidated into Co I 14 Miss and after serving through many engagements was paroled at Greensboro, NC. in May 1865.



194 - YARBROUGH, Stephen; Present Post Office address: Kennedy, Ala; b 20 Jun 1841 in Spartanburgh County, S.C.; first entered the service as Private in May 1861 at Fayette C.H., Ala in Poe or Neal's Co and continued until after one months service at Fayette, was transferred to Co H 6 Miss Cav. Transferred in Jun 1861 at Columbus, Miss to Richard's Co H 6 Miss and continued until the Harrisburg battle, where we fought eight hours without stopping.
