P Surnames Queries PAGE, William: Searching for info for William Page, b. 15 February 1830 in Pickens County, Alabama to Marcus Page and his wife, Susanna Ritchie. William moved to Lamar County, AL from Monroe County, Mississippi. He was married first to (unknown) ca 1850; he married second, Martha Webb in Monroe County, AL on 17 October 1854. He had one son by his first marriage, John Calhoun Page who married first, Mary Elizabeth Basham and Second Sarah Ann Seeley. By his second marriage to Martha, he had Josephine Louise, b. Oct 1859 m. Jim Weeks, John Davis Wortham, b. 1862, m. Elizabeth Lindley, Mary Elizabeth, b. 1865, m. William A. Flinn and Nancy (Nan), b. 1870, m. Reese. William died between 1907-8 when the Confederate Veteran Census conducted by Tax Collector for Lamar County was taken and 1910 when the Federal Census was taken. Partlow, Eli: Born 1855, in ala between 1870-1881. I
don't know where is AL he was. That is the problem. He was born in Meigs Co
Ohio in 1855, and the "missing" years are 1870-1881. The family story goes
that he had another family in the south. There is debate as to whether it is
Al or GA. Please post it where ever it will get the most exposure. I

Perkins, Parthenia: Would greatly appreciate any
information from anyone on" Parthenia" She was the wife of William S.(Svester)
Perkins.They lived their lives in the area of Liberty Freewill Baptist Church,
Bloomingrove Church and Fellowship Baptist Church, in Lamar Co Ala. She was
born abt.1839-1841.She died in 1888 and is buried in the Fellowship Baptist
Church Cemetery,Lamar Co. Ala. Pickle, Jacob: Jacob and his wife Catherine were in Lamar County about 1840 before moving on to Monroe Co., MS, then on to Attala County. I am searching for information on the parents of Jacob and any information on his wife Catherine. I believe they came to Lamar County from North Carolina. Contact: Sam Pickle smaster@northarkansas.net - 3/24/02 Plunkett, Thomas: My gr grandparents Thomas PLUNKETT and Margaret CANTRELL Plunkett lived in Lamar County early in their marriage. I don't know if they were married there. I know their oldest sons Edger and Esker lived there are all their life. Thomas and Margaret moved across the line to MS in Lee County. Both are buried there.
