SAXON FAMILY Hello, I am researching the SAXON family.  In particular, I am looking for any info on the SAXON family. My gr grandfather was Robert H. SAXON, b. 1815, Franklin Co. GA.  He was in Cowetta Co. GA for a while and went to West Point from Newnan, GA. He was in the Creek war in 1835-6.  John Horton SAXON and Robert H. SAXON were together in Newnan GA. and for a while in Goldridge, Randolph Co. AL in the early 1840's and possibly in 1850.  My Robert H. SAXON, b. 1815, had 144 acres of land at Goldridge AL. Next I find him in Houston Co. TX in 1860. John Horton SAXON was there, also.  Robert H. married a Mary ? abt 1852 as their first child (Frannie/Frances) was b. in Houston Co. TX in 1853.  Nannie (Nancy) was b. to them in 1855, Emma was b. in 1857 and my grandfather, Robert Howard SAXON was b. in 1860 , all in Houston Co. TX.  Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you, Dorice in TX Contact:  DJeffries005@aol.com 1/13/03

Strawbridge, Daniel:  Searching for family of Cassy M. Guyton (b 1843, Marion County). Married to my Great-Great-Grandfather, Daniel W Strawbridge, 28 Jan 1875. Also searching for father and mother of Daniel W. Strawbridge. Daniel W
Strawbridge appears in area in 1850 Fayette County census as a 5 year old.
However Daniel is listed in the household of Joseph and Elizabeth Strawbridge who are recorded as being 70 and 60 years old. Believe Joseph and Elizabeth Strawbridge to be grandparents of Daniel W Strawbridge. Appreciate any time and consideration!
