1. Nels Antillan - 1829 - 1906
2. Eva Kaisa Nielson Antillan - 1826 - 1907
These were husband and wife and were our great-great grandparents.
Eva was married to Nielson when our great grandmother was born (he was Norwegian)
but was then married to Nels Antillan, also may be spelled Nils Anttila, (a Finn).
That is why our step great-great grandfather's name on our mother's side is Finnish.
3. Esko Houtari - 1860 - 1906
4. "Baby" Simonsen - 1907 - 1907
Also appears to be a relative from the news article.
5. Andrew Kaski - died in 1908
I found a Christmas card in Mother's stuff from a Hazel and Volodi Lachorenko
in Calfornia who called mom "cousin" and in her card dated 12/28/78, she wrote
that Henry Koski (or Hiekki Koski), the father of Andrew Kaski, is the person
buried at Rice Lake, not Andrew, and that Andrew was buried in Longview, Washington.
I would imagine that this Hazel would know because it appears from her letter that
Andrew was her mother's father and Hazel's grandfather and Henry was her (Hazel's)
great-grandfather. So this person is a distant relative of ours as well.
