Floyd Delos Roberts, 82, longtime Ryder resident, died Wednesday.
Funeral 2 Saturday St. John’s Lutheran Church, Ryder. Ryder Cemetery.
Military rites by the Gilbert C. Grafton American Legion Post of Ryder.
Born Oct., 19, 1892, at Flandreau, S.D. Moved to Ryder Township,
Ward County, in 1905. Lived in the Ryder-Douglas area. Veteran of World
War I. Member of the Gilbert C. Grafton American Legion Post of which he
was a past commander, Minot Elks Lodge and at the time of his death was
serving as noble grand of the Ryder Independent Order of Odd Fellows
Lodge of which he was a 50-year member.
Survivors: two sons,
Lynn, Crosby, and Eldon, Arlington, Va., one daughter, Mrs. Charles
(Doris) Kelso, Seattle; two brothers, Marlin, Minot, and Orlo, Ryder.
Friends call until 9 tonight and from 9 until 11 a.m. Saturday at
Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
