any information about the family of William E. CLAIR and his wife
Clarissa (nee McCammon). The family lived in Trenton, ND and later in
Williston, ND between 1905 and 1920. They then moved to Tacoma,

Josee I am looking for Josee who married someone in Williston, North
Dakota area. She had a number of children. Her father was Charles
Lundberg from Sweden. Her mother may have been Hannah Christianson. She
had a sister named Matilda(Tilley) who married Oscar Johnson of Spalding
and Naicam, Saskatchewan. Another sister Annie Rebecca Lundberg married
John J. Quaid of Foreston, Minnesota and also moved to Naicam,
Saskatchewan, Canada. Another sister Ida Lundberg married an Anderson of
Preeceville, Saskatchewan. A young brother Walter Lundberg born October
27, 1907 died February 18,1908 probably in Minnesota. Her mother
probably Hannah (nee Christianson) Lundberg died in Minnesota on October
27,1902............. Does this description sound like your grandmother's
family? Does this sound like your aunt's family? Does anyone know a
family with Canadian (Spalding, Naicam or Preeceville, Saskatchewan) and
Minnesota (Forreston, Moose Lake and possibly Swede Grove or Grove City,
Meeker County, Minnesota) connections? The Oscar Johnson with wife
Matilda or "Tilley" (nee Lundberg) of Swede Grove or Grove City, Meeker
County, Minnesota also also cousins of the Lundbergs. Oscar also moved
to Naicam, Saskatchewan from Minnesota. These families moved to
Saskatchewan in year 1911............Any and all information no matter

GEMBERLING, George B. I am
looking for family of Arthur Gemberling who passed away in 1980 while
living in Co. One of my surnames is Gemberling. They came from Germany.
Most of the family stayed in Pa but some did venture out west. I'm
trying to piece together some names to see how they relate to my gggg
grandpa George B. Gemberling. I hope to be able to pass this information

SIVERTSON My husband's father's uncle, John Sivertson, immigrated from
Norway 1882 to Sargent County, Dakota Territory. He continued on to
Williams County, near Tioga, obtaining naturalization papers June 18,
1907 (Vol F-13/P.016). Do you have cemetery records or ? to show date of

SMITH, Hiram Mote and SHAVER, Minnie I am looking for information on
the family of Hiram Mote SMITH and Minnie SHAVER. They lived in Trenton,
Williams County, ND in the early 1900's. They had at least 7 children,
at least some of which were born in Trenton; William Kyle, Lee, Andrew
Jackson (Jack), Thelma, Hiram Motier, Mary Ida and Hattie Elizabeth.
They moved to Valley/Phillips County, MT, possibly with the Railroad
sometime after 1921. Minnie died in 1923 from complications from
childbirth; they may have still been in Trenton. Please respond if you

ARTHUR
James Arthur (1834-1890+) was born in Scotland and emigrated to Brome Co
in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. He married another immigrant.
Margaret MacFarland (6 Jan 1845-12 Jul 1926) in 1864, and had children
Robert (1866), Mary (1868), Jane (1870), and Isabella (1875). They lived
in Brome Co in one of the few completely ston farmhouses still standing.
This family was part of an exodus to the Dakotas around 1890 (after the
railroad through northern Michigan was completed), and settled near
Williston. Margaret was the sister of my ggrandfather Alexander H
MacFarland. He kept in touch with his sisters in ND, and was married to
a Beattie. Searching for any descendants of the Arthurs in ND. (or

STORM William Ray
Storm is my wifes grandfather. Can't find any thing farther back than
him. His name could have been Stone. That is a rumor from the family,
but they don't know. He was born abt 1872/1879 in Germany He was killed
in mine accident 10 Dec 1924 in Hanks, Williams, County, ND He is buried
in Hanks, Williams County, ND I have letter from Williston Clerk and
Recorder confirming this. He was married to Eileen Louise Terrilion She
was born 4 Jul 1882 in New Amsterdam, New York They had two children:

HEDGES/DIETER Hedges/Dieter My
grandfather Frank Leslie Hedges was living w/his parents (Elisha and
Fidelia Hedges), brother Charles & 3 cousins, William Rogers and
Benjamin Hotchkiss and Flora Fowler. My grandmother Emma Jean Dieter was
also living in Pembina in 1880 w/her parents Martin Van Buren Dieter and
wife Catherine Keegan Dieter, along w/her siblings. Emma married Frank
Hedges abt 1885 in the Pembina area and by 1900 they were in Ft. Buford,
Williams Co. I have never been able to acquire a marriage license for
Frank and Emma Dieter Hedges but have been told by my mother that they
were married in a double ring ceremony in Pembina County. I would like
very much to have any local information about Emma and Frank Hedges.

UGSTAD/FLATTEN Looking
for any information on the UGSTAD family. Paul UGSTAD was born in
Drammen, Norway, married Annetta ODDEGARD (spelling?) and immigrated to
North Dakota. They had 5 children: Peter, Burt, Oscar, Julia and Inga.
Peter married Marion FLATTEN (spelling?) in 1904 and they lived in
Williams County, around Tioga I believe. Marion was a housewife and
schoolteacher. They had 6 children: Marvin Christopher, Anita Joanna,
Esther Murial, George Oscar, Arnold Peter and Iona. Marion FLATTEN was
buried in Park River in 1937. Any information on any of these people

SULLIVAN, Frank and Anne (Brady) Both b-Ireland ca 1877. A son,
Frank b-30 Jun 1912 in Jamestown, then missing. Frank Jr. gave Williams
Co. as residence when joining US Marines in 1942. Parents thought to own
a hotel and a 5000 acre ranch next to TR Roosevelt?? The 1920 census
showed a Frank SULLIVAN residing in McKenzie Co. Any information on this

Brynjolfsson. I am searching on behalf of relatives of the Brynjolfssons
still in Iceland. I expect their children would have been Emma (b. 21
Sep 1909, d. (ct 1983, and two others with initials E (b. 4 Apr 1900, d.
12 Jan 1992) and M (b. 4 Oct 1902, d. 29 Dec 1989). Any information

PASKEWITZ I am searching for my wife's
ggrandparents. They are David and Augusta PASKEWITZ. I believe they
moved to Ray in 1903-4. I am not sure of their date of death. It could
have been as late as 1932. I have written Vital Records in Williston,
but could not give them a year date, so they may not be able to find

SOINE, OPOIEN, PAULSON I am trying to locate
burial place, obituaries, and any other information on Ingeborg
Kattevold Soine [widow of John Soine, whom I believe died before she
came to Ray, ND about 1910]. I am in contact with her great
