NEHRING, August and Wilhelmina
(BECKER) I am looking for the Nehring family in Williams County. I
noticed that in the book Wonder of Williams: A history of Williams
County, North Dakota there were some Nehrings in the book. I know my
Nehrings were in North Dakota for some time, and was wondering if they
were related. I have not read the information in this book, but only saw
the names in the index. August Nehring and his wife Wilhelmina Becker
came from Pommern, Germany before 1884 and settled in North Dakota. They
had several children but do not know all of their names. Edward, born in
1867 was our great grandfather. He had a sister that married a Zeisemer,
and told they were in Cresbard, South Dakota. Other cousins had the
surnames of Ceilky, Krause, and Piepke. We think sisters married men
with these names. If you have any info, please contact me. Thank you. TR
