SHELTON, Raymond Elmer I have been looking for my fathers family in North Dakota for many years. He had told us he was from Wilton, N. D. but have been unable to locate him there. He had said he ran away from home after a fight with his father and never went home again and would not talk about it with the family. I looked at the 1920 census for Williams County because of the town of Williston being similiar to Wilton. I found a Theodore Shelton, age 39 with his children, Belva, 16, Norman 14, Robert 12, and Raymond E. 8. Also Theodores father William, 69. My fathers name was Raymond Elmer Shelton. I am wondering if any of this family still resides in Williams County and if anyone can tell me if that could possibly be my father. He died in 1969. Thanks for your help.
