Pfc. Earl B. Reynolds


REPORTED KILLED
Earl B. Reynolds

Pfc. Earl B. Reynolds was reported killed in a telegram from the War Department to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Reynolds of Cooper last Friday. He was a member of the 300th Engineers and was reported missing with other Delta county men during the invasion last June 9. He had been in service two years when the telegram was received. He received his basic training at Camp White, Oregon going over seas in December 1943.

Two Cooper Privates Now Listed as Dead

COOPER, Texas. Aug. 7. — The death of Pfc. Earl D. Reynolds was confirmed in a letter received by his father, A. L. Reynolds. The letter stated that Earl Reynolds was aboard an LST en route from England to France on June 19, 1944, which struck an enemy water mine and sank very rapidly. * * *
