COOPER. — A village in Delta County, of which it is the judicial seat, 335 miles northeast of Austin, 19 northwest of Sulphur Springs, the nearest railroad station and banking point. It contains 2 steam grist and cotton gins, two churches and a school. Cotton is shipped. Population, 300. Mail, daily.
