Seeking info re: my grandmother's father,JOHN ANDERSON GRØNENG aka GRAUENG/ANDERSON, b.1848-49. Emigrated from Bergen Norway 1883. Filed lst papers for naturalization as JOHAN ANDERSON GRAUENG, Cass Co., April 7 1884, Vol D-7, p 138. JOHAN ANDERSON GRØNENG had been a policeman in Bergen. Family remained in Norway and lost contact with father. It is belief that he met foul play and died at Fargo or Moorhead. Seek details of death, date and burial location. My grandmother m. Hjelmeland emigrated to Iowa in 1909. Letters between my grandmother and her sister in Norway in 1914 discuss that the father died several years ago and that there was something in Bergen newspapers re: estate? Looking for information on Jorgan "George" SOLBERG born 5 Apr 1876 Fillmore County, Minnesota. Married 15 Dec 1899 (where unknown). Died 28 Nov 1963 in Fargo. His parents were Jon and Jorgina SOLBERG. Wife Ellen REIERSGORD born 21 Aug 1879 Ulen, Minnesota. Died 13 Oct 1963 in Fargo. Thought to be buried in Moorhead. Her parents were Evan REIERSGORD and Guri BENTAGEN. They had two sons Edgar Jennings SOLBERG and Lloyd Orlando SOLBERG. Any information you are able to provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I would like some information on my father and his family. My father's name was Charles Spencer Harris, born in Fargo, ND on Sept. 19, 1902. He had a sister names Jessamine Elma Harris, born Aug. 29, 1900; brother Melvin George Harris, born Feb. 15, 1905. Other family members who may be cousins are Birdella Prudence Maudlin, born Oct. 21, 1904; Walter James Maudlinm birn July 31, 1907; David Julius Maudlin, born Jan. 25, 1906; Mable Irene Maudlin, born Jan. 9, 1909; Marion Alice Mathis, born Mar. 30, 1907; Elmer Louis Rogers, born Dec. 12, 1907; and Evelyn Ruth Rogers, born Aug. 2, 1909. This is all of the information I currently have. I would assume some or all of these people were born in or around Fargo. Any information would be very helpful.

I am looking for the descendents of DANIEL IGGENA. I know Daniel's daughter, Esther, had lived in Wheatland and Arthur. Daniel was born abt. 04/1863 in Norden, Germany. Came to the USA in 1881. Had lived in Danforth, Il. then moved to Minn. There were relatives by the name of HASBARGEN living up there.

WYATT, b. 1872; Gertude Wyatt BOYD, b. 1874; Nellie Wyatt CALDWELL, b. 1876. Family files indicate Nellie and Gertude lived near Fargo. Have tons of info on their ancestors (to share) and their brother, William Case WYATT, b. 1879 in Kitley, Ontario, and his family. He lived in Moorehead- Dillworth, MN area, in 1900-1902, 1909-1922.
