The Edward Stewart DAVIS family homesteaded in Page, ND in 1883. His
wifes name was Martha Ellen Hobbis Davis. They had six children:
Francis Elmer b. 1874, Herman Edward b. 1876, Mary Gertrude b. 1878,
Erma Rebecca b. 1880, Willard b. 1885 and Earl Louis b. 1890. My
grandfather, Herman DAVIS married Grace MARTIN in 1901. Does anyone
have any information on this family?

and Rachel Bakken, known as |Ole and Rachel Anderson.Leonard
ND.(Found some info): Children Otto (found),Cora (found), Abbie (my
grandmother), Inga (still searching for her),. Also looking to find
copies of centennal books for purchase for Cass Co., and Chaffey. Any
information on Inga and whether she married, moved, died, is what I'm
looking fork in addition to any siblings of Ole Bakken Anderson and
Rachel Alston/Oleson.,,..,trying to find her maiden name which is
confusing.

Walburg Township area.,.Leonard, Chaffee, Enderlin, seeking Inga
ANDERSON (MRS. ROBERT SCILLEY) RELATIVES.She was the daughter of Ole
and Rachel Bakken Anderson. Her husband, Robert Scilley was a
neighbor of the Anderson's....are there relatives of theirs still in
the area? Also seeking grandchildren of Peter and Betsy Peterson.
Anderson's and Petersons were Norwegians.

Searching for relatives of Peter and Bettsy Peterson of the Chaffee
area. Born 1838 and 1839 in Norway. Died iln 1932-33 Lisbon, ND. Also
searching for relatives of one of their son's, P.O. Peterson, who
married Gertrude Warnkin of Milwaukee, WI in 1983. They had 8
daughters and their children/grandchildren may still be in the CASS
CO area.

area, Cass County during the early 1900's. Their granddaughter, Clara
HAMBLIN lived with them. Clara married Herman DAVIS c 1910. Herman's

and to ND circa 1880. Grandfather Jacob Van Arnam married Mary
Lawrence b. Canada father George Lawrence and nither Sarah Goff. Had
three children in ND then moved to Oregon. Grandfather's brother was
Judge George Van Arnam married Mrs. Nettie Heath Knuppenburg. Had
three daughters Kittie Beardsley, Mabel Grace and Hazel. Am searching
for any information on VAN ARNAM AND LAWRENCE FAMILIES AND THEIR

My great grandmother, Anne LINDSAY was from Mapleton, ND. She was
born 17-July-1881. In 1904 she married Noah TOULOUSE and moved to MO
where she died in Crystal City on 17-Aug-1952. The parents of Anne
LINDSAY were Hartcourt LINDSAY and Isabell McCLOUD. I believe one or
both of them originally came from Canada. I am searching for any and
all information on Hartcourt and Isabelle and would love to hear from
any other LINDSAY or McCLOUD descendents.

In 1920, living on 6th St. South, clerk for NPRR George W Pierson,
son of John Pierson, was living with wife Mona M Thompson. Their
children, Fred, Virginia, George W., and Elizabeth left during the
40's not to return. Mona's father Edmund Thompson lived on 6th Ave
South with children until 1915-1920. Mona & sister Irean married
several years after the 1910 Census, their Mother Elizabeth died
befor the 1920 Census. Any additional information on any indivudual
would be appreciated.

I am looking for the death record of Louis Larson, died March 28,
1958 and may be buried at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, Cass County ND.
He was married to Elizabeth,(married ABT 1917) his fourth wife, at
the time and had several children. By Elizabeth, Clifford Larson born
ABT 1918, Elmo Larson born ABT 1820. He also had children by at least
two other marriages. Martha's, his third wife I think, children are
Hector Larson ABT 1905, Lillian Larson ABT 1906, Minnie Larson ABT
1907, Annabelle Larson, Alice Larson ABT 1909, Louis Larson, and
Clarence Larson ABT 1914. I know nothing about his second wife, but
the first was Olava or Alava Olson. They were married in April 13,
1888 in Otter Tail County, MN and had one child Oscar Edwin Molde. He
change his name to Larson sometime after that marriage. Any help on
any of these people would be greatly appreciated.

JENSEN. His real father name was LARME first name unknown. His mother
name was Myrtle LEE. His father died abt 1917 in WWI. His mother
remarried to L. JENSEN who adopted my father so that is Were JENSEN

I am just starting... I am looking for *any* information on my father
William Loyal CLAY, b.14 May 1921, in Fargo ND. I have very little
info on him, Iknow he was stationed in England during WWII, married
my mother Ardis E. Cleland, of Northfield, MN., worked for the
railroad in CA in the 40'-50's. I don't know his mother or father's
name other than his dad was called "Buck", and his mother re-married
a guy named Grouch or Crouch, and they moved to NM. He died in CA in
the 80's, but I don't know where he is buried. Any help would be
appreciated.

Info re:Emmanuel Medric LaValley married Margaret Dimmer circa 1890
Cass County. Children Ralph, Roy, Clem, Ray, Margaret, Mary, Manuel,
Peter. Emmanuel ("Pete") was a pro baseball player from Minneapolis -
son of ? LaValley and Henrietta (?) Papineau. He and a cousin bought
land in southern Alberta near Coaldale about 1910 and moved their
families there.

listed spellings. Fred J. SCHRIMP married Nellie McDonald, she being
born around 1887 in the Forest River area. They had 3 sons, Fred,
Harry, and Roger. It is felt that Fred J. was a Pharmacist in Fargo.
It is unknown if he is buried in Cass Co. Anyone with any information

they farmed in Crawford/Vernon Counties, West Pririe, WI. Betsy had
brothers/sisters/Erickson's, and searching for them and their
relatives. Peter and Betsy had 10 children, 6 lived, born between

Does/did the Northern Pacific Railroad go through Cass Co? I'm
looking for George KOCH who emmigrated from Germany to N. Dakota in
1882. I suspect he may have purchased land from the railroad. Any
good sites on the railroad and what their sales policies were? He
