For the genealogists searching for information or data about your ancestors, this list has been indexed according to Surname "ALPHABETICALLY" and by the "PERMIT #".
There is also a "Partial List of Interments" for "The Rising Sun New Cemetery" that is being included in the files to show the headstones of many.
Statistics: The Cemetery has almost 5,000 interments. Many more lots have already been purchased, and many more that have not been sold yet,as seen in the index.
Pete Nocks has added the "Column: Permit#". He has scanned each burial permit, and is linked to the Alphabetical lists. There is additional information given on most of the permits, that is not shown on the list, such as "Mother and Father" and "Cause of Death". General location of birth. Last residence.

Also all of the cemetery permits have been scanned using "PDF" format, therefore you must have a reader that will support the "PDF" format such as "Adobe Reader".
If you see a "? it indicates that the information given on the "index page" in that particular cell, does not agree with the information given on the "Burial Permit"
